A native of Cheraw, South Carolina, Matthew first came to Charleston to play in junior golf tournaments at Kiawah Island, Snee Farm, and Wild Dunes. His successful junior golf career led him to Coastal Carolina University, where he double majored in Business Management and Marketing while playing collegiate golf.After moving away from the Grand Strand upon graduation in 2006, Matthew was offered a position for a Charleston area custom home builder and developer in 2007. While working for the builder/developer, Matthew learned valuable information about the home building process, construction materials, and the importance of community management. This knowledge can be helpful for successfully managing homeowner associations and condo regimes in the Tri-County area. Matthew enjoys golfing, traveling, going to the beach, and reading in his free time. He is currently attending The Citadel Graduate College for a Masters in Business Administration.
