A native of Cheraw, South Carolina, Matthew first came to Charleston to play in junior golf tournaments at Kiawah Island, Snee Farm, and Wild Dunes. His successful junior golf career led him to Coastal Carolina University, where he double majored in Business Management and Marketing while playing collegiate golf.
After moving away from the Grand Strand upon graduation in 2006, Matthew was offered a position selling new homes for a Charleston area custom home builder in 2007. There he utilized his marketing skills and knowledge to help market homes in a variety of price ranges around the Tri-county area. While working for the builder, Matthew learned valuable information about the home building process, construction materials, and the cost associated in the different levels of quality. This knowledge is essential for both buyers and sellers of new and old homes.
Matthew enjoys golfing, traveling, going to the beach, and reading in his free time.
